Fiber Analysis Knitter Sampler with Automatic Package Changer
INTRODUCTION
The Sample Automatic Knotter, SAK can be combined with the FAK-S knitter to create a fully automatic yarn knitting machine. This automated system greatly increases laboratory efficiency by allowing non-stop knitting machine operation.
The SAK includes a round magazine feed for preloading up to 36 ends. More ends can be added during the test without any interruption.
Options include a splicer or knotter to tie the yarn ends together. After the yarn samples are loaded into the magazine, the SAK automatically knots or splices the predetermined sample lengths of yarn in sequence. A knot-marker is available for the knitting machine to indicate the starting point of a knit sample.
The SAK can also be combined with the HDK knitter to gain same benefits as mentioned above.
