Knot Detector
INTRODUCTION
In many textile applications, there is a need for knot detection. Lawson-Hemphill now offers a mechanical Knot Detector which can be adjusted with a calibrated knob to detect the passing knots. It covers a wide range of yarn counts and works with most types of yarn and fibers and monofilaments. The unit is rugged and has ceramic contacts to alienate any abrasion damage from passing yarn. The unit is supplied with an amplifier that generates a signal which can be used to count the knots or start/stop any necessary processes or applications. It also comes with a quick cable connection for easy removal or replacement.
