CTT - Lint Generation Tester
INTRODUCTION
The LGT is specifically designed to test and compare different yarns for lint generation. For spinners, it minimizes the effects of lint buildup generated during weaving and knitting which cause downtime. In turn, product quality is improved and production costs are reduced. The LGT determines how much lint a yarn will generate under certain manufacturing conditions, including:

Operation
Yarn lint is collected and weighed to provide a lint factor (LF) for comparison with similar yarns. The yarn is tested dynamically to more closely simulate actual production conditions and provides timely an accurate data.
