INTRODUCTION

The CTT Shrinkage test measures the % shrinkage of the yarn as it is running under constant tension at test speeds up to 360m/min.

For shrinkage tests, there are several types of heaters such as non-contact, contact or pin (round) heater available. The maximum test temperature is 2500C.

Windows based, user-friendly software collects the shrinkage data in real time. At the end of each test, the data is statistically analyzed, saved and ready to be exported to a database.

Operation

High Speed shrinkage tester with three heating units available: contact heater, non-contact heater, and pin heater. Allows operator to select temperature, test length, sample size and yarn tension. Test- Shrinkage of continuous yarn length, Short and long-range shrinkage variations within yarn, Heat curve - shrinkage vs. temperature
