INTRODUCTION

The CTT-DST tests yarn dynamically which significantly improves accuracy in detecting and studying yarn variations as compared to static or skein tests.

Operation

High Speed shrinkage tester with three heating units available: contact heater, non-contact heater, and pin heater. Allows operator to select temperature, test length, sample size and yarn tension. Test- Shrinkage of continuous yarn length, Short and long-range shrinkage variations within yarn, Heat curve - shrinkage vs. temperature
