Dynamic Modulus Testers
INTRODUCTION
The DMT is a complete system that measures dynamic modulus of fibers, yarns, tapes, nonwovens, and monofilament.
Operation
Measures velocity of sonic pulses in materials. Provides data on physical and chemical structure of yarns, fibers and tapes.
Properties Data
Strength, stiffness, elasticity, dyeability, resilience, fatigue, orientation and crystallinity.
Other uses
Evaluation of experimental materials, production quality control and basic research.
Options
Two material mount options are available:
- LH-551- Fiber Scanner Option: Tests natural and synthetic . fibers such as polyester, nylon, elastomeric, monofilament, . carbon fiber and glass fiber.
- LH-552- Planar Mount Option: Tests paper, membranes, nonwovens, film and thin strips of most materials.
