Electrical Conical Table (Taper Board)
INTRODUCTION
The Yarn Board Winder is an electronic conical board testing machine which can rotate a yarn board end-over-end at a constant speed. A reference table is provided in ASTM D 2255 to specify the proper spacing for the traversing mechanism. The traversing guide is used to advance the yarn evenly under tension across the board as it is wound. When the yarn is completely wound the testing device automatically stops.
The test specimen is now available for acceptance grading and can be given a yarn appearance grade determined from visual analysis.
There are several terms to describe this device such as a Taper Board inspection machine or an Electrical Conical commonly referred to as a Motor Driven Taper Board.

- Dual Yarn Carrier guide rod smooth and precise movement and uniform winding

Twin Yarn Carrier option to allow 2 yarn winding on the same Black Board. Each Yarn will wind 50% of board, allows to compare 2 yarns side by each. - Conical table with double step (see diagram)
Double Traverse Speed (double yarn wrap spacing) allows for heavier yarns and fancy yarns to wind with double distance between each wrap. The Ball screw that drives the yarn carrier has a course thread which moves the carrier at double Speed.
