INTRODUCTION
This instrument is designed specially to evaluate the abrasion resistance of color fabrics.
OPERATION
A 16 millimeter peg is rubbed against the fabric sample for a specified period of time. Then, the fabric is assessed using grayscales.
STANDARDS
- Performed in accordance with: AATCC standard 8-1988 and ISO standard 105.
