A New Generation Tensile Tester

In October 2009, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Department of Textile Technology published a paper in Fibre2fashion focused on the Advantages of Dynamic Yarn Testing over conventional static yarn measurements using the CTT-Constant Tension Transport. Fibre2fashion is a global organization supporting the Textile, Fashion, Apparel, Yarn and related industries.
The paper features the benefits of the CTT- a NEW GENERATION TENSILE TESTER which was developed by Lawson-Hemphill, a TMI Group of Companies. The unit is capable of providing a series of measurements for overall yarn performance. The CTT also offers several useful yarn profile testing and fabric simulation software modules for yarn development and research applications.
